We are two reporters with a passion for the environment. You are facing one of the biggest projects of our lives: raising awareness, informing and saving our beloved Cantabrian Sea.
Who are we?
Hey there! It is Andrea here! I come from Navarre, a region in Spain located in the Cantabrian area of the country.
All my life I have been a curious and nosy child, and even more when it comes to biology. As a journalist I believe I have the tools to reach the audience effectively, and that is why my colleague and I created this amazing project.

Hi! I'm Goizeder, like my friend, I come from Navarre, a small region just an hour from the Cantabrian Sea.
Since childhood I have always loved water, I can remember the long hours inside the sea, exploring everything it hides.
As a result of the impact we are having on the planet and thus, the oceans, we wanted to develop a project in which each of us feels part of caring about our environments.

Where is the Cantabrian Sea located?
The Cantabrian Sea is the coastal sea of the Atlantic Ocean that includes most of the northern coast of Spain, the southwest of the Atlantic coast of France. It also encompasses the southern area of the Bay of Biscay, which is an extension of the Atlantic Ocean.
Historically, the Bay of Biscay has constituted not just a crucial naval transit zone regarding commerce, but also the scenario for important war events such as the Battle of the Bay of Biscay.
The Cantabrian bathes 800 kilometers of coastline shared by the provinces of La Coruña and Lugo (Galicia), Cantabria, Asturias, Guipúzcoa and Vizcaya (Basque Country). With a maximum depth of 4.750 meters, its continental platform extends to 200 or 300 meters before falling into the continental slope.
