PRESTIGE DISASTER
15.03.2023
It was November 13, 2002 when the oil tanker "Prestige" spilled 77,000 tons of heavy oil due to the accidental sinking of the ship. In its wake it left a desolate panorama, leaving the Galician coast polluted and covered with tar.

Listen to our interview with Anna Rubio in the following podcast. She, as Head of Operational Oceanography in AZTI (Member of Basque Research and Technology Alliance) will tell us how she lived the Prestige disaster from the trenches.
